Massimiliano Allegri Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that any talk of a crisis at his club has been over exaggerated ahead of their game against Empoli this weekend.

Their form on the road has been patchy of late with Champions League losses being coupled with a draw away at Sassuolo and a defeat against Genoa in the league.

“What is my response to those who talk of a crisis? I do not think there is much to talk about,” Allegri said in his Friday press conference. “The league still has a long way to go. Against Genoa, we lost undeservedly.

“Whenever you lose a game, there is always talk of crisis from the outside but there is no talk of it from us. In three games, we have created and scored little and this is not an excuse but a fact however against Empoli we will try to do more and score more goals especially.”

The former Scudetto winning coach with AC Milan did admit that his side will find it somewhat difficult to do that against an Empoli side who he has a great deal of respect for.

“The last two games have not been good and they have been ‘disastrous’ results to some,” continued Allegri. “Empoli will be a tough game as they are a team who play good football.

“I must congratulate Sarri for the excellent work that he is doing. They are doing so with young players too and that is something that the club must be congratulated for too.

“It will be difficult against a vibrant team, but we must do our best to win which is what we do in every game.”

Allegri concluded his press conference by saying how pleased he is with the form of all of his strikers and even joked that he may be tempted to try a Fernando Llorente or Alvaro Morata partnership.
