Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has agreed to pay for daughter Pia’s child maintenance costs.
The Italian striker had the 22-month old with model Raffaella Fico, with a bitter dispute emerging after the child’s birth in Naples.
According to The Mirror, the expenses will cost Balotelli €1,200 per week, after the 24-year-old finally agreed to bear the financial weight of his daughter.
Balotelli has often posted instagram photos of himself with his young daughter, and it is believed to now have settled the financial matter with the child’s 26-year-old mother.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will be relieved that Super Mario can now focus on footballing matters, with the striker having netted only once for his new club, after his €26 million transfer from AC Milan in the summer.
Such form has also seen the man considered first-choice under Cesare Prandelli, to be dropped from the Italian national team altogether.
New Azzurri coach Antonio Conte has opted to include Simone Zaza and Graziano Pelle in his early squads, with both finding the net in crucial Euro 2016 qualifiers.
