Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto has been linked with a January transfer move to English Premier League side Liverpool.
The 25-year-old Brazilian keeper has been a stalwart in goal since leaving Atletico Paranaense in 2011, impressing after a number of convincing displays for the Viola.
According to The Metro, Liverpool are looking to secure his services reports of contract negotiations stalling between player and club.
It is also believed that the Brazilian will likely replace current first-choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, as the Belgian has struggled with consistency and received heavy criticism over a positioning deficiency.
Neto has accumulated over 50 Serie A appearances with the Tuscan outfit.
