Roma have put the 3-2 defeat to Serie A leaders Juventus behind them, says midfielder Adem Ljajic.

Following a routine 3-0 win over Chievo, which saw the Serbian net his second goal of the campaign, Ljajic insisted Rudi Garcia’s team are always looking forward.

“We have already forgotten the game in Turin, today we played well and must continue like this – answering questions on the field,” Ljajic told Sky Sport Italia.

“I have said many times that I want to give my best for the team, but I certainly enjoy scoring goals- Garcia was pleased, too.

“When Francesco Totti plays these kind of balls to you, you can only score goals; as it happened at Parma, his through balls are waiting to be turned into the net.

A difficult Champions League game awaits Roma, with a trip to Bayern Munich on Tuesday, and Ljajic offered his thoughts on the tie.

“We are a very strong team, and will be there to get a result,” he continued.

“We will play our game, and try to win, if not we will take at least a draw- but we always enter the field to win.”

Ex-Fiorentina man Ljajic was joined on the scoresheet by Mattia Destro and Totti as Roma stay second in Serie A, behind Juventus on goal difference.
