Lazio president Claudio Lotito has praised his side after their impressive 2-0 away win against Fiorentina on Sunday.
The two sides kicked off in the early match of the day and goals from Filip Djordjevic and Senad Lulic were enough to cap a deserved win for the Aquile.
“I saw a team of strong character, tenacity and very motivated to pursue great results but above all, a team aware of their own potential,” Lotito told Tuttosport.
“We’re coming back strong. We have a long season ahead and we want to get on with it, hopefully with the help and support of our fans.”
Lazio currently sit in sixth place with 12 points from their first seven matches.
