Napoli defender Christian Maggio has urged his teammates to be more aggressive following their 2-0 defeat to Young Boys in the Europa League.
Guillaume Hoarau and Leonardo Bertone were on target at the Stade de Suisse in Berne on Thursday evening as the Swiss Super League side ended Partenopei’s perfect Group I start to join them on six points.
“We could have go ahead in the standings, instead we will have to fight to the end for top spot,” the 32-year-old told the club’s official Twitter account after the match.
“Many of the players have played less, it is up to us to help them when they are called into question.
“We are missing a bit of nastiness at the moment, we all always have to give our maximum and we must work more and more.”
