Malaga are hoping to entice Sampdoria striker Gonzalo Bergessio to the club in January.
The 30 year old Argentinian striker only made the move to the Blucerchiati in the summer, but has struggled to displace Stefano Okaka in the first team.
Fichajes suggests that Malaga have moved to inquire about the availability of the striker, with the hope of signing him when the transfer market re-opens.
Malaga coach Javi Garcia is reportedly a big fan of the former Catania striker and his given his consent over a possible move.
Bergessio has made five appearances for Sampdoria this season, but is yet to break the duck for his new club.
