Hellas Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini has admitted that his side cannot afford a slip up against Lazio.

A victory would take the Mastini into the top ten, though Lazio themselves could go third with a win.

“The important thing is to get a result,” admitted Mandorlini in his pre-match press conference.

“We are facing an excellent quality team, and one who has four wins in a row.

“We must defend well,” he went on to say, “we have to defend well and be more compact.”

“Playing at home is something else,” he continued, “there’s always a game against a strong side. We’re on a good run, and we have to make fewer mistakes in order to earn more points.”

Hellas Verona go into the game against Lazio in midtable but having conceded nine goals in their last two games including six to Napoli.

Mandorlini’s side have won just once in five matches.
