Inter coach Walter Mazzarri has identified the conditioning to be a factor for his team’s poor form of late.

The Nerazzurri have only won two points in their away trips so far this season, and the former Sampdoria coach was quick to identify the main reason for his side’s recent form as well as calling on the fans to help them through their difficult moment.

“All we are missing is the victory,” said Mazzarri in the press conference. “The imperfect condition of the team has something to do with it, as I have mentioned it in the past.

“It is that lack of conditioning which makes you fail to reach the loose balls or makes you lucid in the final third.

“We did better against Napoli; I saw a team that was aggressive, fast, and looking to retrieve every ball.

“Against Napoli I saw a beautiful atmosphere; unfortunately we did not win but it was great to see.

“Hard times are overcome by the fans.”

Inter snatched a late draw against Napoli last week, but remain winless in their previous three Serie A encounters.
