On the eve of Inter group stage clash against Saint Etienne, Nerazzurri coach Walter Mazzarri is expecting a challenge in their third Europa League game, and wants to see some mental fortitude from the Biscione.

Inter currently top their group after taking six points from both of their two games, Saint Etienne trailing them with two points, ahead of Thursday’s clash.

“We have studied them and followed them through the rounds, “said Mazzarri during his pre-match press conference.

“They are a prestigious club and we have a lot of respect for them.

“It will be in an exciting game and I am interested to see the right attitude not only tactically, but also psychologically.”

He was also quizzed about his relationship with Inter honorary president Massimo Moratti as well as his current situation at the club.

“I am focused only on the match, I don’t have time to think about the words of Moratti,” he snapped.

“From when I started my career, I have always focused on getting the maximum out of my players”

“A coach has to speak at the right time and now I have to give all of my energy to my players

“At this current moment I try to speak as little as possible because every single one of my words is exploited”
