Olympiacos’ head coach Michel believes that it is not right to compare Juventus under Massiniliano Allegri with the past few seasons under Antonio Conte.

The Greek champions face Juventus in a crucial Champions League encounter in Athens tomorrow evening did not want to drawn into commenting on the remarks made by Marcelo Lippi that Conte’s Juventus were more fierce than the current side.

“Conte’s Juventus of course distinguished itself, but this does not mean that Allegri’s is weaker.” Michel told reporters at his pre-match press conference in Athens.

“They are different, I can not compare them.”

He then discussed who was the better striker; Fernando Llorente or Alvaro Morata.

“Llorente has not made his mark and Morata is a great player, when he was 15 he signed for Real Madrid from Getafe.

“I’d rather neither were playing tomorrow, but I have more of a fondness for Morata.”

Michel was then quizzed about his side’s defensive record so far and the easy goals that they have conceded.

“This year we have conceded four goals, the same as last year.

“Botia? I do not like to comment on any one of my players, the responsibility belongs to the whole team.

“When we beat Atletico [Madrid] we played well and nobody asked any questions, I do not want to make negative comments about my players.”
