Sampordia coach Sinisa Mihajlovic believes Saturday’s match against the Giallorossi will be an angry encounter after the capital clubs humbling defeat to Bayern Munich midweek.

During his pre match press conference, Mihajlovic talked openly about a number of issues and was especially keen to point out that both teams have points to prove.

“The match will be a contest between two angry teams. We have lost a great opportunity against Cagliari but we must show character,” he stated.

“We have made great progress, we must not leave anything on the road as we have to be good in our mind and then in the legs. If we are angry, can you imagine Roma?

”We can not make mistakes. The Giallorossi are a difficult team to deal with and we can not think that they are in trouble.

“Bayern are a monster of a team and Roma will not repeat those mistakes. Roma have great champions and maybe play the best football.”

Mihajlovic also paid tribute to Massimo Moratti, who ended his 20 year association with his former club Inter.

”I had four wonderful years [at Inter]. For us he was like a father, a gentleman and one whopaid attention to everything, and I was tied to him. I am sorry but he will have had the right reasons.”
