Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has stated he is overjoyed to have joined the Bianconeri after notching his first goal for the club over the weekend.

The ex-Real Madrid striker joined the Bianconeri in the summer, and after missing some time due to injury, he is keen to impress for the club who were dead set to sign him.

He told Primer Toque Onda Cero of how the club made an instant impression on him as negotiations began, surrounding his transfer.

“They [Juventus] wanted me even during the tough times. I was fifth or sixth choice at Real but I wanted to feel important. As soon as they came knocking I had no hesitation.”

“[Massimiliano] Allegri? The coach talks to me often. He tells me how I can improve and both physically and tactically I am getting better.”
