Sebastien Pocognoli West Bromwich AlbionNapoli and AC Milan are both closely monitoring Belgian left back Sebastien Pocognoli as both sides look to reinforce their defensive flanks.

Pocognoli, who currently plays for West Bromwich Albion, is a target of both sides for different reasons.

Sky Sport Italia report that Napoli have identified the Belgian as an ideal challenger for starting left back Faouzi Ghoulam.

Ghoulam, who will be out for at least a month due to the African Cup of Nations being played in January and February, has failed to make regular appearances this season, putting his position in jeopardy.

Milan, meanwhile, are looking to bolster their left side after the disappointing form of Mattia De Sciglio to start the season.

Pocognoli has a contract that runs until 2017 and only joined West Brom over the course of the summer.

The 27 year old has made 7 appearances this season, starting all seven times from the left back position.
