Rafael Benitez NapoliWith another disappointing result for Rafael Benitez’ Napoli side in the Europa League against Young Boys on Thursday evening, it has been reported that the Azzurri fans made their anger at the woeful performance in Switzerland known to the players and coach as they departed the stadium.

The Partenopei have struggled to find the net this season, and despite having double the attempts of their opponents drew a blank once more and were punished for their wayward shooting when first Guillaume Hoare gave the hosts the lead before Leonardo Bertone gave Young Boys a 2-0 win in stoppage time.

According to Sportmediaset, the fans then waited for the Napoli coach at the exit of the Stade de Suisse to jeer their departure while insults were heard being directed the way of their Spanish coach.

Despite their stuttering start to the Serie A campaign this season, Napoli still sit fairly comfortably at the top of Group I with six points after consecutive wins over Sparta Prague and Slovan Bratislava.
