Napoli are still hot on the trail of Atletico Madrid’s Mario Suarez, after having failed to secure his signature during the last transfer window.
The 27-year-old was a prime transfer target for the Partenopei during the summer as they sought to bolster their midfield but they could not agree any deal with Atletico.
However now, according to fichajes.net, Los Colchoneros are considering offers of around €12-15 million in January for the twice capped Spain international, and the Neapolitans could be ready to make their move in the winter transfer window.
Suarez is currently in his second spell with Atletico and has become a reliable team player, if unspectacular, but only made 17 La Liga appearances as the Rojiblancos secured the league title on the last day of the season against Barcelona.
