Christopher Samba Dynamo MoscowNapoli are being linked with a move for Dynamo Moscow defender Christopher Samba during the January transfer window.

The Partenopei are believed to be looking to strengthen their squad during the next transfer window and could sign the Congolese international for a reduced fee as his contract with the Russian Premier League side expires in 2015.

According to Fichajes.net, Napoli are currently scouting the 30-year-old defender as Rafa Benitez is reportedly interested in his services.

Samba was recently suspended for two matches by the Russian Football Union after responding to racist abuse during Dynamo’s 3-1 win at Torpedo Moscow last month.

The former Queens Park Rangers and Blackburn Rovers centre-back stuck his middle finger up to Torpedo fans on September 22 before being substituted at half-time.

Samba has made seven appearances and scored three goals for Dynamo Moscow in the Russian Premier League so far this season.
