Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto feels that his side’s victory against Udinese on Wednesday evening was very important to the club and he also praised the fans.
The Viola comfortably saw off Udinese 3-0 with a brace from Khouma Babacar and a late Borja Valero strike and Neto knows how important it was after a difficult start to the Serie A season.
“Yesterday evening was a very important victory in front of our great fans!!” he tweeted through his official account.
“We will continue on this same path.”
The 25-year-old keeper was called upon to make a number of saves and managed to keep his first clean sheet since the Viola dispatched Inter 3-0. It was also a marked improvement for the Brazilian on his recent performances against Lazio and AC Milan where he struggled at times.
