A bomb reportedly exploded during Sunday afternoon’s Serie A match between Torino and Udinese.

Reports filtered through that a bomb went off at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin. Apart from the triggering of the device, the details of the occurrence are still not entirely confirmed or clear.

Sky Sport Italia report that the the explosive device — thought to have been a paper bomb of sorts — went off in an area of the Stadio Olimpico away from any security camera surveillance.

It is thought that the paper bomb would not have caused any major injury to fans, other than their ear drums.

Torino defeated Udinese 1–0 on Sunday in Serie A matchday seven.
