Parma fans have again shown their displeasure following their 3-1 defeat to local rival Sassuolo.

Last weekend Parma fans reacted angrily to their side losing to Atalanta and many are beginning to lose patience with the team.

As reported by Sky Sport Italia, a group of Parma fans had a confrontation with president Tommaso Ghirardi asking for explanations about the current situation.

Following their latest defeat Parma are bottom of Serie A with just three points from eight games and are three points from safety.

This run of bad form is in stark contrast to last season when Parma finished in sixth place in Serie A.

Last season was the third time in a row that Parma have finished in the top half of Serie A.

The hostile atmosphere at the Ennio Tardini could well continue in the coming weeks with Parma playing Torino and Inter.
