Lazio coach Stefano Pioli has stated that the win against Torino was important for his side to keep up their momentum.
The Biancocelesti defeated Torino 2-1 on Sunday evening thanks to goals from Lucas Biglia and Miroslav Klose.
“Torino’s win earned us only three points, but it was very important to keep up the momentum”, Pioli told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are delighted to have Miroslav Klose in the team. Today he showed his quality with the winning goal.
“Antonio Candreva is one of the greatest players I’ve coached. Candreva has some amazing qualities. If you point them out, he will become a champion.”
