Gianluca Rocchi has declared that he was at fault during the recent Juventus vs Roma game.
The match finished 3-2 to Juve although the game was controversial throughout and now Rocchi has admitted that he was in the wrong.
“I hold my hands up, I was wrong,” Rocchi told Processo del Lunedì
“The way I handled the Maicon penalty was not right.
“Having reviewed the game in order evaluate my performance I can see that I made a mistake.”
Rocchi also showed three red cards, to players Alvaro Morata and Kostas Manolas as well as to Roma coach Rudi Garcia. However, the referee proclaims that it was a tough game to referee.
“It has to be said though that it was a difficult match to be in charge of,” he went on to say.
“The players were fired up and there was a lot of tension in the ground.
“I will learn from my mistakes and work hard to improve in the future.”
