Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben believes his side can still improve after putting seven goals past Roma in the Champions League.
The Dutchman was on target twice for the German champions with Gervinho scoring Roma’s solitary goal in a miserable evening for the hosts.
“We expected a much tougher match because Roma are a top class team,” Robben said in an interview with Sky Sport Deutschland.
“We prepared really well for this match. What we achieved on the field was amazing. But we have to stay humble,” the 30 year-old continued.
“It may sound odd after a 7-1 win, but there are still thing we can improve on,” Robben concluded referring indirectly to Roma’s only goal.
Manchester City slipped up against CSKA Moscow giving Roma a chance of qualifying despite their heavy defeat to the group leaders.
