Roma president James Pallotta is remaining positive after his team’s demolition at home in their Champions League match against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

The Giallorossi shockingly fell 7-1 to the German giants at the Stadio Olimpico, letting the Bavarians score five times in the first half alone, but the capital city club’s chief understands that the Italian side will have some bad days in their fight to become one of Europe’s top clubs and is already looking forward to redemption.

Pallotta spoke through Roma’s official website about the defeat to Bayern and expressed his gratitude to the Lupi fans for their undying support even after such a negative result.

“Unfortunately it was just one of those days,” said the 56-year-old. “Watching the Boston Celtics for most of my life we had many, many bad days on the way to 17 championships.

“One day doesn’t change anything. It happens on the way to glory.

“I saw a video of our fans after the game, it made me cry. You are the best in the world. So proud of being a part of Roma.”
