Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has declared that Roma are currently the best side in Italy ahead of his team’s Champions League clash with the Giallorossi.
The two sides meet in Rome on Tuesday evening in a much anticipated Group E fixture and the Bavarian’s boss anticipates a difficult game for his team.
“Roma are currently the strongest team in Italy,” the 59 year old wrote on Twitter.
“Going to be a really hard game to deal with.”
Before moving moving into club management, Rummenigge was an international star, scoring an impressive 45 goals in 95 appearances for West Germany.
