Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman will reportedly make his return to the Lupi squad in November if his recovery continues going as planned.

The 24-year-old has been nursing a serious knee injury he suffered back in March and still has some ways to go before he is fully fit, but it seems that he may be ready to take the pitch sooner than originally expected now that he’s recently begun training with the Giallorossi again.

According to Tuttosport, the Dutchman is working hard to make his way back into the Roma squad for their November 22 meeting with Atalanta, though an earlier return during the capital city club’s Serie A match with Torino on November 9 hasn’t been ruled out.

The former PSV Eindhoven man, who has also attracted a heavy amount of attention from Manchester United as of late, managed to score five goals and provide six assists in his 25 league appearances for the Lupi before suffering his injury last term.
