New Bologna president, Joe Tacopina has assured the club’s supporters that he is working to return the Rossoblu to Serie A as quickly as possible following their relegation in May.
The American lawyer acquired the Emilia-Romagna club in October after having served on the board of directors at Roma and he his keen to return the side to their former position in Italy’s top division.
“It will be a long road, but the goal is to return as soon as possible to Serie A,” the 48 year old told the press before his teams 2-1 victory over Trapani on Monday evening.
That win saw Bologna draw level with Carpi at the top of the Serie B standings.
