Roma striker Francesco Totti has expressed his relief after coming away with a draw after their Champions League group tie away to Manchester City.

The 38-year-old’s goal levelled the score after Sergio Aguero put the home team ahead, and it leaves the Italians in a good position after two games.

“I’m proud of what I’ve done, I hope to continue and not stop,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“I am 38 years old but I do not feel it.

“It was an important point today, and we even had the chance to win after we had five or six opportunities to take the lead.  We did not succeed because City is a very strong team and well organized.”

Totti’s goal saw him overtake Ryan Giggs as the oldest scorer in Champions League history.
