Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni identified Atalanta’s wide players as the main threat to his Zebrette ahead of the two side’s meeting in Udine on Satruday.

The coach talked about Udinese’s 1-0 loss away at Torino on October 19 which was the Bianconeri’s first defeat of the season and Luis Muriel’s presence in the side.

“They [Atalanta] can make it difficult with their speed,” said Stramaccioni during his pre-match press conference.

“They have very dangerous wide players such as [Salvatore] Molina, [Marco] D’Alessandro and [Alejandro] Gomez.

“They’re then complemented by attackers like [Maxmiliano] Marquez and [Richmond] Boakye.

“Then there’s [German] Denis who’s always good in front of goal.”

The former Inter coach also refused to speak about the resignation of Massimo Moratti as the Nerazzurri’s honorary president:

“My attention revolves solely around Udinese, I don’t have any comments to make about Inter.”

Stramaccioni was also reluctant to discuss the Torino defeat in great detail:

“There’s already been too much said about it.

“The match was balanced, but they found the decisive goal.

“We could have certainly done better but we don’t need to be too dramatic about it.”

Stramaccioni then fielded questions about Colombian attacking midfielder Luis Muriel who has made three starts for Udinese so far this season:

“He’s an important player for me.

“He had two bad injuries and was reintegrated back into the squad since.

“He will have a lot to fulfil in the next week.”
