Torino coach Giampiero Ventura was pleased with the manner of his side’s convincing 2-0 victory over HJK Helsinki in the Europa League but is wary that the group remains open.

The Granata won through in a fairly easy game against the Finnish side, and now sit top of Group B with seven points, two points clear of Club Brugge.

“We wanted to get the result and that’s what we did,” Ventura said to the press.

“We played logically, expending as little energy as possible.

“I would say the victory was deserved, but our group is still open. We’re in the lead but there are still three games to go.

“Today was important for the attitude, not just the result. I would say at the end of the game that we’re satisfied.

“They told me that the Europa League would be a nuisance, but we don’t think of it this way.

“I’m happy for Amauri’s goal, he’s been looking for it and he found it.”
