Verona City Council to sue FIGC Prosecutors for stadium ban

The City Council of Verona have taken the decision to sue the FIGC Prosecutors who played a role in imposing the stadium ban on Hellas Verona.

The Gialloblu were handed a €50,000 fine and a one-game partial stadium ban on Tuesday for their alleged racist chants towards Sulley Muntari, and the City Council of Verona are looking to sue the FIGC prosectors who impacted the decision.

According to ANSA, the City Council of Verona have instructed their lawyers to sue the three FIGC prosecutors who impacted the decision.

The Council, which is led by Mayor Flavio Tosi, have decided to sue the prosecutors for what they claim to be a “damage done to the image of the city.”

It is also worth mentioning that Inter have also been fined €30,000 for territorial discrimination against Napoli.
