AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi has praised both Fernando Torres and Giampaolo Pazzini after Milan’s derby draw against Inter.

Neither of the pair scored at the weekend but Inzaghi insists that both have big roles to play at the San Siro.

“Torres is not a problem, so far he has not had the chance to show people in Italy how good he can be,” Inzaghi told Rai Sport.

“I see him as an important part of this team, as a central striker occupying the penalty box.

“Pazzini did not start against Inter but that does not mean he will not play in the coming weeks.

“He is an important player for this team and will show that during the rest of the season.

“There is a bit of regret when I look back at the game against Inter.

“We only drew when we should have won, we have to get back to winning ways at the weekend against Udinese.”
