AC Milan are interested in bringing 22-year-old Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic to the San Siro in January.

The Croatian international impressed the Milan hierarchy during Italy’s 1-1 draw against Croatia at the San Siro last weekend, showing a dynamic midfield display before being replaced with seven minutes remaining by Fiorentina man Milan Badelj.

Dynamo Zagreb could be willing to part with one of their prized assets and according to Sky Sport Italia, The Rossoneri are prepared to challenge both Arsenal and rivals Inter for Brozovic’s signature for a fee in the region of €8 million.

Brozovic scored seven goals in 13 appearances for the Croatia U21s before progressing into the senior squad in June 2014, starting in a 1–0 victory against Australia and appearing at the 2014 FIFA World Cup against hosts Brazil.
