Wesley Sneijder AC Milan are tracking Galatasaray playmaker Wesley Sneijder with a view to bringing the former Inter star back to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza during the January transfer window.

Star man Keisuke Honda is set to miss a portion of the season due to his international commitments with the Japanese national side at the Asia Cup,and as a result the Rossoneri have been looking into short term replacements.

According to SportMediaset, the club have turned their attention towards the Dutch midfielder and could attempt to complete a six-month loan move for the 30-year-old.

Sneijder spent four years at city rivals Inter and was an integral part of the clubs 2009-10 treble winning season. It is believed that he is unsettled in Turkey and could be open to a return to Italy.

It is also thought that Milan will look to offload Giampaolo Pazzini or M’Baye Niang to create space for Sneijder, while also suggesting Honda’s international teammate, Atsuto Uchida as another possible January target for the Rossoneri.
