Giampaolo Pazzini has attempted to end the current controversy sounding his lack of playing time ahead of AC Milan’s weekend trip to face Sampdoria.
The 30 year old Italian was at the centre of a media storm last week after his wife took to twitter to criticise the Rossoneri for her husband’s limited playing opportunities. The striker has only spent 50 minutes on the pitch this season.
“I understand the needs of the coach,” Pazzini told Mediaset following Milan’s mid week friendly against Argentine side San Lorenzo.
“My time at Samp? I also had problems when I was in Genoa but I managed to overcome them and score goals. I hope to to repeat this.”
Milan beat the Copa Libertadores holders 2-0 with the goals coming from Pazzini and Giacomo Bonaventura.
