Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder, a transfer target of AC Milan, would be open to leaving the club if he is not guaranteed playing time.

During last weekend’s 3-0 loss at home to Trabzonspor, the Dutchman was benched and only introduced with half an hour remaining.

As a result, his agent Guido Albers told Turkish television, Bugun TV, that his client could be forced to move on although his preference would be to remain in Istanbul: “I do not know what the situation was or why he was left on the bench.

“Today, we plan on talking to the club to get their thoughts on the future of Wesley. I do not know why he is not playing.

“He wants to stay, but nobody likes to be on the bench so we will see…”

Sneijder enjoyed a fantastic spell across the city of Milan with rivals Inter and is also a transfer target for Manchester United.
