fernando torres milanAC Milan striker Fernando Torres could be looking for a new occupation soon with the former Chelsea man admitting that he quickly needs to rediscover his goalscoring form and would like nowhere better than that to start Sunday night in the derby with Inter.

The 30-year-old has just one solitary Serie A strike to his name since arriving from London, but with the Rossoneri without a win in October 19 sees victory over their cross-town rivals as the catalyst for an assault on European qualification.

“The derby is a game that primes you for the next six months,” Torres told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I hope to score. Scoring is my job, otherwise I may as well find another.

“However, more goals are not an obsession and if I see a teammate in a better position I will always pass it to him.

“I’ve always been a player who depends critically on the team. Nobody in football today can make the difference alone.

“The experience I had at Atletico Madrid is fitting for the current situation at AC Milan.

“Milan has to begin positive. Europe is the primary mission, but we must not become too anxious.

“The great Milan will return because the big players want to play for big teams and the big teams are those with a great history.”
