Torino’s veteran striker Amauri put his side’s lacklustre draw with Belgian highflyers Club Brugge merely down to the opposition goalkeeper.

Torino dominated the game from start to finish and created a myriad of chances but failed to score, thanks largely to the heroics of Brugge’s Australian keeper Mat Ryan.

“We played great, we showed what we could do after the last game [with Sassuolo],” Amauri said after the game.

“Their goalkeeper [Ryan] was the best player on the field.

“On Sunday we have the derby [with Juventus], it’s an important match.

“The fans give us the belief to go forward.”

The ex Juventus man was one of the main culprits for his sides lack of goals tonight, the Torino will hope that he can find the net on Sunday against their bitter rivals and his former club.

Form is against them though, only Atalanta have scored less goals this term in Serie A.
