AC Milan have held a summit at their training base as the Rossoneri look to reassess how they approach the development of young talent in their various youth teams.

The event was attended by all the technical staff working with the youth teams, first-team coach Pippo Izaghi was also present as was vice-president Adriano Galliani and legendary former coach Arrigo Sacchi.

According to Sky Sport Italia, representatives of every Milan youth team met to discuss various strategies and observe training sessions as the Diavolo intend to build a youth system that is capable of producing more graduates who make it into the first-team

Sacchi returned to his former employer to explain the benefits of nurturing young talent and offer his views on what is good practice in training young players so that they can fulfil their potential.

It has been reported that Milan will employ Sacchi more regularly to oversee their attempts at revolutionising the youth sector.

Galliani gave a motivational speech at the end of the event to remind the young players of what Sacchi achieved with the Rossoneri after he led a club that had been struggling in Serie A to the Scudetto in his debut season.
