Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly two of the teams who are ready to launch a bid for Lazio attacking midfielder Keita Balde Diao.
It is reported that Lazio will set a high valuation for the attacking midfielder, estimated to be around the €25 million mark, despite the 19-year-old having just started two Serie A games this season.
According to reports in English newspaper The Daily Express, the two Premier League clubs are prepared to go head-to-to head for the signature of the Spaniard.
Liverpool coach Brendan Rogers has been interested in the former Barcelona youth prospect for some time, having scouted the player numerous times last season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is also said to be interested in Keita and is prepared to battle it out with other European teams to complete the signing.
The Lazio starlet has so far made 39 appearances for the Biancocelesti after his transfer from Barcelona in 2011, and last season he scored five goals in Serie A after making 25 appearances,
