Bayern Munich are targeting a shock move for Napoli’s towering defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The 23 year old French youth international only joined the club from Genk in the summer, and has been an impressive performer for Rafael Benitez’s side.
Itasportpress.it report that Bayern sent scouts out to watch the defender shine in his side’s impressive 2-0 victory over Scudetto contenders Roma on Saturday.
The scouts would have left the stadium impressed as Koulibaly was one of his side’s outstanding performers, containing Roma star Francesco Totti all afternoon with ease.
Koulibaly has made 10 appearances in the Serie A already this term, establishing himself as first choice under Benitez.
