Cesena boss Pierpaolo Bisoli wants his team to move on from their away defeat to Chievo on Sunday and instead focus their energy on preparing for the next two home matches after the international break.

The Seahorses fell 2-1 to the Flying Donkeys at the Bentegodi and the tactician admits that his players could have put in a better performance, though he’s willing to take the loss as a lesson and concentrate on improving for future games.

Bisoli spoke to Rai Sport after the defeat to Chievo about Cesena’s poor showing and commented on his mission to lead his men to a comeback in the coming weeks.

“You’re punished when you make mistakes in the Serie A,” said the 47-year-old. “Today we played poorly, but we equalised.

“Then a free kick was taken and we conceded the second goal. Now we have to react to this nasty blow. We’ll go back to work for these next two home games. Let’s roll our sleeves up.”
