Roma striker Marco Borriello has revealed that the capital city club remain focused on their home clash with Inter on Sunday despite the controversy surrounding their activities following their 1-1 Champions League draw with CSKA Moscow.

The Giallorossi have found themselves in the media spotlight after taking a trip to a Russian strip club on Tuesday night following their disappointing draw with CSKA and the 32-year-old has insisted that the Stadio Olimpico outfit is looking to put the past behind them by securing a victory over the Nerazzurri.

Borriello spoke through his official Twitter page on Saturday about the attention Roma have received for their actions and set his sights toward the battle with the Biscione as the Lupi look to keep their hold on second place in the Serie A standings.

“Enough talking and causing unnecessary controversy,” said the former AC Milan man, who is yet to appear for Roma this season.

“We are focused on tomorrow and we are very motivated to do well. We can’t wait to play.”
