Napoli v CagliariCagliari’s Diego Farias spoke after the game on his determination to score goals, following his team’s unlikely 3–3 draw with Napoli on Sunday afternoon in Serie A.

Farias grabbed a brace for himself in helping his team rescue a point on their difficult away trip to the in-form Napoli side.

The Brazilian forward spoke after the game, focusing on what Cagliari needs to improve on and his willingness to justify coach Zdenek Zeman’s philosophy.

“We wanted to win but in the end we did not manage to score that last goal,” Farias said to Sky Sport Italia.

“It is a good result but we must change our attitude and take the field with the right mentality from the start.

“For me Zeman is very important; He gives me confidence and I try to repay him with goals and performances like this.”

Cagliari have been struggling for goals since Zeman’s arrival — barring the odd game — and are still struggling at the bottom of the Serie A table, in 16th place.
