Carlos Tevez agent is set to play waiting game for the striker’s contract renewal.

The striker’s agent has said that the contract renewal with Juventus for his Argentine client will take place at an appropriate time.

The Argentine national, who had an impressive run with the Bianconeri this season, is the joint top scorer in Serie-A alongside Napoli’s Jose Callejon with eight goals in their kitty.

Tevez, who after his impressive Serie-A performance, recently earned national team call for Argentina’s recently concluded friendlies against Croatia and Portugal.

Tevez, with over 36 appearances for the Bianconeri since arriving in Italy in 2013, has a contract with Juventus until 2016.

However, the player’s agent, Kia Joorabchian is in no hurry to renew the Juventus contract.

“Carlos has another year-and-a-half left on his contract with Juventus, so the best thing is to handle the situation carefully”, Tevez’s agent told Le 10 Sport.

“When the time comes to sit down at a table, then we will talk with [Juventus CEO] Marotta about the possibility of an extension.”
