Cesena coach Pierpaolo Bisoli claims that recent pressure has not distracted him from the task of preparing the Cavallucci Marini for Sampdoria’s visit to the Stadio Dino Manuzzi on Sunday.

Cesena have won once since returning to Serie A after a two year absence and have lost four of their last five league outings, and Bisoli has called on his side to be more ruthless in front of goal.

“We are calm because I’m used to criticism in the world of football,” he said. “In the past two and a half years I’ve received so much that it is no longer an issue for me.

“We have trained behind closed doors only to be more relaxed for the next challenge.”

Sampdoria have only managed one victory away from home this campaign and Bisoli hopes it will be the hosts luck that will change on Sunday afternoon.

“We are happy with how the team is shaping up, despite some bad luck in recent matches; however, we are growing and becoming more comfortable with each other.

“We need a win to release the tension and be more relaxed in the future – although this will not be easy because Sampdoria are a team in good shape.”

Despite Cesena’s recent run of form, they remain only three points away from safety.
