Cesena goalkeeper Nicola Leali has expressed his satisfaction at the way the Cavallucci Marini played against Sampdoria.

Pierpaolo Bisoli’s men drew 1-1 against Samp at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi on Sunday afternoon, and the former Spezia man was happy at how the team played.

“We’ve been really unlucky of late,” he told Sky. “We started well, but we suffered in the final 15 minutes because Sampdoria are a great team.

“However, the performance was a good one.

Leali then went on to say that he believes his side have what it takes to stay in Serie A season.

“We strive to win, especially at home,” he said. “We’ve been playing well of late, but we’re finding trouble in getting all three points.

“However, I think we have the right mindset to keep us in Serie A.”

Cesena’s upcoming game will be at home to Genoa on Sunday afternoon.
