Former Lazio and AC Milan striker Hernan Crespo says he would like to become a coach in Serie A in the future.

The Argentine was appointed Parma Primavera coach in July and hopes to see it as a first step to becoming the Gialloblu boss in the future and follow in the footsteps of former teammate Filippo Inzaghi who has achieved that accomplishment at the San Siro.

“I decided to stop playing and focus on coaching the young players at Parma,” Crespo told TuttoMercatoWeb.com.

“I will try to help them become future players for the first team.

“It feels great, I feel like a coach already.

“My immediate goal is the Primavera side, but one day I would like to coach the first team at Parma or another Serie A side.

“I hope to continue to grow and convince someone to give me that chance in the future.”
