De Sanctis - RomaRoma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis is confident that no major disturbances will take place on Saturday when the Giallorossi travel to Napoli to kick off Week 10 of the Serie A season.

Security is on high alert for the match after incident’s last season in the lead up to the Coppa Italia final which saw Napoli fan Ciro Esposito killed, but the former Partenopei shot-stopper is confident things will run smoothly on Saturday.

“The right messages have arrived for this match,” he told Sky Sport Italia in the lead up to the high profile encounter.

“For now everything has gone smooth and I’m sure that is how it will be during and after the match in terms of the spirit that the teams will put on the pitch in order to get three points.

“Important to win on a symbolic level? It is an important step in the championship, just like it was on Wednesday considering the target we set for ourselves for the end of the season.

“[Seydou] Keita for [Daniele] De Rossi? Seydou did well in previous occasions showing that the balance has not changed.”
