Antonio Di Natale has expressed his delight after bagging his 200th Serie A goal on his 400th Serie A appearance.
The 37-year-old reached the milestone after he rifled home just before half-time during the 1-1 draw with Chievo on Sunday.
“I am very happy with the record. I want to thank my teammates, my family and my parents who are no longer here,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
He was also asked about the likelihood of him breaking the Roberto Baggio’s figure of 205 goals.
“It has been a target since the start of the season, but we’ll see Sunday after Sunday.
“I’m sorry as it was a hard game against a Chievo side that played well.
“We got the opening goal, but they managed to level. All in all it was a good point for us.”
